The 7th Annual OCBA Veterans Committee Golf Outing on Sept. 12 in Pontiac was a record-setting affair, raising more than $26,000 for the Vets Returning Home program in Roseville, according to attorney Mike Schloff, chair of the committee and one of the key organizers of the event held at the Links of Crystal Lake. Vets Returning Home is a “nonprofit and non-government funded organization dedicated to help our veterans transition into stable lives,” said Sandy Bower, founder of the program.
