February 8 webinar on 'How To Win Your Appeal' offered by MDTC

The Michigan Defense Trail Counsel will present the webinar “How To Win Your Appeal In The Trial Court, Or At Least How To Not Lose It” on Wednesday, February 8, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

The webinar will feature discussion and analysis from leading appellate lawyers on the major opinions released in the ‘21-’22 term, including cases sounding in medical malpractice, governmental immunity, and trucking negligence. Speakers will provide practice tips aimed at making trial counsel better “record” advocates whether prosecuting or defending their case. The webinar will also look ahead to pending issues on the Supreme Court docket and identify issues that may arise in the ‘22-’23 term, including anticipated cases in premises liability and no-fault.
