As part of its Community Conversations virtual event series, WMU-Cooley Law School will present “Black History Month with attorney Zenell Brown” online Thursday, February 23, from noon to 1 p.m.
Brown is an author and a champion of justice for her DEI efforts and initiatives.
She melds her court leadership, crucial conversation, dispute resolution skills, and diversity skills and leads the administrative operations of the Third Circuit Court.
Her book, “Coffee and Conversations: Inclusion and Belonging,” was published in 2020.
Brown is a member of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, National Association of Women Judges-Michigan Chapter, State Bar of Michigan Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council, SBM ADR Section-Diversity and Inclusion Action Team, and Detroit Bar Association.
