State - Michigan Chapter of FBA to hold annual meeting

An amendment to Article V, Section 1, of the Chapter's Bylaws, which requires a vote by the members of the Chapter, is noticed below will be offered and voted upon pursuant to Article VI, Section 5 of the Chapter's Bylaws, at the Chapter's Annual Meeting and Dinner on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel, 1114 Washington Boulevard, Detroit, Michigan.
The existing and proposed Bylaw provisions are set forth below:
Existing provision:
ARTICLE V - OFFICERS
Section 1. Composition:
The officers shall be elected from the membership of the Chapter and shall be as follows and in the order named:
1. President
2. President-Elect
3. Vice President
4. Secretary
5. Treasurer
6. ProgramChair
7. Immediate Past President of the Chapter
Proposed replacement provision:
ARTICLE V - OFFICERS
Section 1. Composition:
The officers shall be elected from the membership of the Chapter and shall be as follows and in the order named:
1. President
2. President-Elect
3. Vice President
4. Secretary/Treasurer
5. Program Chair
6. Immediate Past President of the Chapter
The remaining provisions of the Chapter's Bylaws remain in full force and effect.
