State - Wachler appears on webinar panel

Andrew B. Wachler represented the private sector on a webinar with CMS regulators discussing new program integrity initiatives from CMS for its Medicare and Medicaid programs. Wachler appeared with Kimberly Brandt, Director, Medicare Program Integrity Group; and Angela Brice-Smith, Director, Medicaid Integrity Group. The focus was on how heath care reform has increased CMS's new program integrity initiatives. Wachler is the principal of Wachler & Associates, P.C. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Michigan in 1974 and was the recipient of the William J. Branstom Award. He graduated Cum Laude from Wayne State University Law School in 1978. Wachler has been practicing health care law for more than 25 years. He counsels health care providers and organizations nationwide in a variety of health care legal matters. In addition, he writes and speaks nationally to professional organizations and other entities on healthcare law topics such as Medicare appeals, Stark and fraud and abuse, HIPAA, and other topics.
