Adrian: Man pleads guilty to 3 killings, admits to 3 more
ADRIAN, Mich. (AP) -- A 53-year-old Adrian man has pleaded guilty to three 1979 murders and admits roles in three other killings as part of a plea deal.
Anthony G. Walker appeared last week in Lenawee County Circuit Court. He's already imprisoned for a 1996 Wayne County rape conviction.
Authorities in May charged Walker with murder in the shootings of 19-year-old Theresa Carey and 24-year-old Yolanda Madison. Madison's 10-month-old daughter Jessica toddler died when the house was torched.
The Daily Telegram says Walker pleaded guilty to killing the women and to the murder-for-hire of Floyd Beatty at his Manchester-area in 1979.
He isn't being charged in the 1975 killing of 24-year-old Arlene Salcedo of Adrian and the 1986 killing of 40-year-old Jackson prison inmate Daniel Staggs.

Morenci: Hearing over extradition set for kidnap suspect
MORENCI, Mich. (AP) -- The father suspected in the disappearance of his three young sons in southern Michigan has an extradition hearing Tuesday in Toledo, Ohio.
Thirty-nine-year-old John Skelton of Morenci is jailed on $3 million bond in the Lucas County jail. He's charged with parental kidnapping in the disappearance of 9-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner Skelton.
The boys were last seen on Thanksgiving. Volunteers have searched southern Michigan and northern Ohio.
The hearing follows Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm's request to Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland to return Skelton to Michigan.
Tanya Skelton reported her sons missing after their father didn't return them from a court-ordered visitation.
Police say John Skelton made up a story about giving the boys to a female acquaintance. His lawyer declines comment to The Daily Telegram of Adrian.
