Louisiana Man charged after driving with wife's body ZACHARY, La. (AP) -- Authorities say a south Louisiana man has been accused of murder after driving for about six hours with his wife's body before entering a police station to say he killed her. Zachary police Capt. David McDavid says officers found the body of 47-year-old Pepettra Guidroz in the back of a Ford Mustang on Wednesday. The woman apparently had been stabbed to death. The victim's husband -- 53-year-old Stanley Guidroz -- was returned to Houma where he was booked with second-degree murder. It couldn't be determined if he has an attorney. McDavid says Guidroz said he'd stabbed his wife around 5:30 or 6 a.m., near a Burger King in Houma and then drove around for hours before stopping in Zachary. McDavid says the woman apparently was killed after an argument. Pennsylvania Final teen in taped bullying case sentenced MEDIA, Pa. (AP) -- The last teen charged in the videotaped bullying of a younger Pennsylvania boy has been sent to a juvenile drug treatment facility. The 16-year-old was ordered to undergo drug treatment during his disposition hearing Tuesday. Last month he admitted his role in the attack on a fellow student at an alternative school in the Upper Darby School District. The 13-year-old victim was dragged through the snow, stuffed in a tree and hung by his jacket from a 7-foot-high fence post in the January 11 attack. Five other teens received probationary sentences after admitting they took part. Charges were dropped against the teen who recorded the attack. The attorney for the 16-year-old sentenced Tuesday says his client was under the influence of marijuana when he was arrested. Florida Teen accused of killing parents charged as adult NAPLES, Fla. (AP) -- A 14-year-old southwest Florida boy accused of fatally shooting his parents in December has been charged as an adult with manslaughter. The state attorney's office in Fort Myers said Wednesday the "appropriate action" is to charge Alexander Crain with two adult counts of manslaughter with a firearm. The office did not explain the charging decision. His surviving family had sought to have him charged a juvenile, which means the penalties would have been less severe if he's convicted. Police say Crain's parents, 40-year-old Thomas Crain and 39-year-old Kelly Crain, were killed in their Naples-area home with a rifle Dec. 9. Missouri 18-year-old man charged in triple homicide KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- An 18-year-old man is charged with shooting three young men to death at a party at a Kansas City-area hotel. Clay County authorities on Wednesday charged Isaac Perdomo-Paz of Kansas City with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of armed criminal action. He is being held without bond. Perdomo-Paz is accused of killing Armin Hamidovic (hah-MID-oh-vik), Dejan Joksimovic (joh-SIM-oh-vik) and Delfino Elizondo on Feb. 26 at a Red Roof Inn in Randolph. Authorities have not said what prompted the shootings at a crowded party at the hotel. The Kansas City Star reports that court records indicate that the shootings began because Hamidovic was sitting next to an ex-girlfriend of Perdomo-Paz. Missouri Sheriff: Vet shoots parents over Jesus claim SEYMOUR, Mo. (AP) -- Webster County authorities say an Army veteran became enraged and shot his mother and tried to shoot his father after they would not acknowledge that he was the reincarnated Jesus. Sheriff Roye Cole says Zakariah Jacob Evitt was jailed Wednesday on $500,000 bond on two counts of felonious assault and one count of armed criminal action. Cole says the 26-year-old Evitt, who served in the Army in Afghanistan and Korea, began shooting Tuesday at a home he shared with his parents. He fled and was captured in Greene County. His father was not injured. His mother was treated and released from a Springfield hospital. Cole says Evitt's father said his son hadn't slept for days before the shooting. Court records do not indicate that Evitt has an attorney. Georgia Former federal judge prepares to learn fate ATLANTA (AP) -- A former federal judge who pleaded guilty to two drug-related charges involving a stripper is set to be sentenced for his crimes. U.S. District Judge Thomas Hogan is set to decide Friday whether to sentence Jack Camp to prison after he pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge and two misdemeanors. Camp's attorneys have filed a flurry of motions asking that he be sentenced to probation and community service. But prosecutors say he owes a debt to society that includes at least 15 days in prison. Camp resigned in disgrace from the U.S. District Court in November. The 67-year-old said in court filings that his decades-long battle with depression and a bicycling accident that caused brain damage led him to use drugs and start seeing a stripper. New York DA to retest more cases in crime lab probe MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) -- The district attorney plans to have drug evidence in as many as 3,000 drunken driving cases retested because of questions over the accuracy of results from the Nassau County crime lab. Newsday reports that Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice wants to review all blood-alcohol cases over the past three years. That's a significant increase from last month when Rice said she'd ask for a review of 20 percent of the cases. Rice's office said the majority of felony drug cases from 2008-2009 that will be retested have been disposed of in the courts. On Monday, a judge ordered a retrial in a drunken driving case because of revelations of inaccuracies involving drug analysis at the lab.
